Ease of Mind

Rain,

when I feel the rain

I am home

Rain,

soft, grey

simultaneously 

saturating

Rain,

coloring

my self

into rhythm 

and the cry

of a new day

Rain,

a time to rise

to breathe

a precious sigh

with laughter and life

Rain,

earth’s continuing emotion

of enlightenment and pain…

Thank you, I try to capture the feeling of rain in a lot of my work. It's hard to escape since it rains 9 months out of the year where I live. :)
