No Vacation!

Give students a break!

Vacations are meant for fun

Time for being out in the sun.

 

But the schools of today

Have shunned the concept of vacation away.

 

They have classes during vacation

Amidst protest from students in vexation.

 

It’s just plain cruelty

Which is the horrifying reality.

 

They say it’s for students’ sake

Which isn’t wholly fake.

 

It does help in revision

But it narrows down the fun session.

 

Studying for an entire year

Vacations are only fair.

 

So it’s time for the scholastic authority

To have some humanity.

I do not object to studies.
But studying for a year, it is only fair to give students a break.

Very true. I totally agree with you. Even when we are given vacations, there are loads of homeworks and projects to be done, which takes away all the fun :( This never makes the vacation seem like a vacation. The rhyme was absolutely wonderful. Also, this is completely relatable. Thanks for sharing :) I understand that studying is important but vacations are essential. I loved it. Keep writing :)

School days...I remember them well.
You raise some good points. Students of today, study really hard - giving everything they have; just to reach a certain grade. I admire the people who knuckle down and study for their future - to reach a goal, an achievement, and to feel the joy if they hit the results. I say 'well done' to them
