tormenting Issues

tormenting Issues

A Poem by waleed blacko

One dark mid-night,

The moon had no light,

Hiding with no sight,

Not even a blink nor a wind sounds,

Am sitting there motionless,

With no will to move or to fight,

Surrendering I might,

Yet I hear a whispers, yet so clear,

My heart trampled in fear,

As a shadow stood in front of me,

Silence over there, with no feeling of the surrounding air.

Fear not he said,

Am only the shadow of the dead,

The dead past of you,

The forsaken memories within,

I glanced don’t know what even could be said.

A laugh he shoots,

A finger he pointed,

Toward my empty mind,

Flashing memories became in sight,

Incarnating,

Shaped in the shadow forms,

Mocking my long will to fight,

A glamorous hope within my empty shell,

Trapped within my agonized void,

Feeding on my banished fears,

Tormenting echoes within the desolated halls of my fragile mind,

A losing fight,

Battling I might,

The shadows of my dead past,

Laying in the very corner of my frozen cage,

A corpse with broken wings,

The wings of a long lasting hope,

The ever lasting fight,

Scars over me,

Yet can’t be healed,

An ever lasting scars of my cold firry body,

Telling the epic tale, of me

Losing my life time fight.
