The Wind Cried Mary

The Wind Cried Mary

A Poem by Neville
"

.... My dear Mum Mary passed away a year ago today early ..

"

The Wind Cried Mary

The wind it

Called her name

And she was gone

But a star

Was born instead

And while no one

Knows

For sure

Just how many

Stars burn bright

Mark these words

My friend another one

Shall surely shine tonight

While I shall whisper soft

Her name again that of Mother

Sorry to hear of your loss my friend. I feel a bit like an imposter, as no words will ease your hurt.
As your words support, this is a time for remembering all the good she brought and those around you, as well as tears and quiet contemplation. We'll still be here when you return. Go and deal with the important and we will be thinking of you.

Lorry.

One feels vulnerable at whatever age a parent leaves us. This poem is a beautiful expression of your grief and sense of loss. No wonder the sky is brighter today....Sending you a hug, dear friend.

You are welcome, dear friend.
Dear Neville, anniversaries are such a painful reminder and we live those moments all over again. Your mum safe in spirit with your dad, for eternity. Remember that in your sorrow.

my dear Neville, how the stars will fail to cry for these most beautiful and moving words? I'm so sorry I was late to read this gem and send You my warm condolences, they say the Wind goes and never come back to a place which She (the Wind) passed by, so Your words here are even more movingly sentimental.

Sorry for your loss, Neville, and surely a new star will appear in the heavens...I will look for it tonight.
My own Mum is going on 95...still OK with the exception of the dementia, but not looking forward to the end whenever that shall come. Only God knows for sure.

Take care friend. If it's any consolation...love never dies...it lives on in the heart.

Sorry for your loss & feeling amazed how you can share such sparkling sentiments when your heart is probably wracked! This is the sweetest goodbye I've ever read. So lyrical like a caress, your title is stunning! (((AWED))) Fondly, Margie

Neville, I'm truly sorry to read about your dear mother. What a warm, heartfelt tribute to her. With poems like this one, we should never forget our lost loved ones... or the ones they reared to honor their memory.
