This sounds a little bit like a whiny loser to me . . . but that's how we can all sound at times when we find ourselves being tricked by an online entity. I relate to the feelings, but if I were this person, I would not wait for the other person to delete me. There will always be boondoggles online, so just block the sucker & move on. It leaves more time for meeting true friends online *smile*

I must've blocked all the punks by now . . . I never get slimed here anymore *wink! wink!*
I care about those who touch me I them. But for that invisible, frail connection, all is just bits and bytes and icons readily deleted, anytime. Relationships are just one click things nowadays. I appreciate your take on virtual relationships very much here.

There ya see, we have more in common than just writing, poetry & words. Bless ya Divya. All Good Things, N
New social media. Too many places to go. I limit myself to two sites. With work and life. Time is very valuable. Facebook is too active. Games and odd things make it act loco.

"I hope you continue to tick
Each others little boxes for many years to come
You are welcome to each other" . I like the sound of that . It seemed that you enjoyed expressing yourself as it has a cool vibe.
There's always a difference between true, and fake people, both on and offline...And it's better not sharing ur personal info, pics. Etc with those 'friendly strangers' initially.Privacy is often very important when we talk about 'friendly/people online'.
If these things don't affect them much, they are true people, but if you often find one forcing you for sharing something you're uncomfortable sharing with them...Trust me, that's the truest indication, that they are fake people... Because practically, true people/ friends don't much bother and force you bout anything...There just comfortable with what and how you are.
It is the insecurity of these fake people, which makes them compel us for things...It's better therefore maintainin a 'comfortable dustance' and eventually if one feel things aren't giving good vibes, one should leave.. Because these vibes, these actions, and the energies never lie 😊
Why to give them that mere self of us, that they can hurt? Friendship aftrall has limits too, and one who doesn't respect, and cheat us...Is/are consequently not worth being called as a 'friend'.
Friendship is about 'sharing and caring' and getting the same back, and not bout 'using people fir fulfilling wrong motives.'
I applaud out for writing and sharing this piece, Neville 😊
Well done!

It's true, facebook and other such places are veils behind which millions hide to play games that were never possible before. Not an advance in the human condition. Meanwhile facebook harvests our presence and sells it for billions.

Thank you Ron, you old stranger you. Spot on, as always sir
Ouch … sounds like someone did the ‘dirty’ on you! Mind you… "All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons (or daughters) of the earth. Man/Woman does not weave the web of life; he/she is merely a strand of it. Whatever he/she does to the web, he/she does to their self. --Ted Perry, 1972. Watch this (face) space and time will show you may just have had a ‘lucky escape’! On to new horizons my friend … :-)
