Face Furniture

Face Furniture

A Poem by Neville
"

Just a bit o fun

"

Face Furniture

Shall I grow a beard for thee

A little Shakespeare one perchance

Or if you would I rather

I will sport a Che Guevara

If tho the thought has got ya thinkin

What about an old Abe Lincoln

Just a small one my chin

Three hairs no more like Hoe Chi Min

Hans Lanseth’s beard was something else

He couldn’t fit it in his house

A Da Vince or Van Dyke may be

More attractive tho just wait and see

It seems face furniture is the rage

Just go check out Sam Dickens, Norman223 or Ali’s page

Go look but don’t ya gloat now

I’m just off to cut me throat now.. only kidding

The End

Fun write Neville. I was always very partial to George Harrison, especially when he sported a beard. I have to say I like them. However, it has to be a proper beard, not designer bloomin stubble or half a dozen hairs hanging from the chin. It has to be hairy, but not untidy. Are you thinking of growing one?

It was visual. Cardboard cutout toppling over. I can live with that, :)

Who is it that you wish to grow a beard for, N? I checked out Norman223’s page. He has a standard white beard. You have more interesting beard ideas in this poem. A catalog would be great. Please take care with the throat though ;)

Hmm. I had never given it much thought. I think it depends on the face and the person. Interesting poem and I did wonder by the title where it was going to go. Right for the jugular it turns out. :)
