We are the captains of our own ships. Yes, it's the decisions we don't make that can possibly lead to missed opportunities. No regrets have I though. Happy to be where I am Neville. Huge decisions taken that have exceeded all expectation.

I have been sketching this very subject in my mind while writing a poem:) because the truth really is all of it the good the bad the happy the sad it is what made us... us so really my friend what would we change? that is the crux right now for my poem i think this little diatribe has kindled me (that's the second time in a row you did that:) give me your address so i can send you my check LOL

the tide will always return to me of that I have no doubt

I have no qualms admitting I am always second guessing and dissecting my choices and regretting things I could have done but didn't. This restlessness keeps me ahead. This poem is appreciated very much for that very reason.

Couldn't be more true Nevile. I'm still in bed, because despite the best laid plans of meese and men, I am too lazy, sleep in and then say, ach... I'll do it tomorrow.
But ask me to ponder and I'm right up there with the best of 'em. If there was a gold medal for lethargy, I'd pay someone to steal it 😀
