Riding a Curve

Riding a Curve

A Poem by Neville

Riding a Curve

Knowing her

like I did

indeed once

know her ..

Yet all but

far too briefly ..

Was like

riding a curve ..

Set in stone

upon a simple

eyelash flutter

A single

sun ray spied ..

'Riding a Curve'
Neville,
Memory is a wonderful thing. Time stands still no matter the time gone.
Line:
"Riding a curve set in stone upon a single eyelash flutter a single sun ray spied."
If this was written about a real person she must of been special. It expressed the beauty of the human connection in a sweet way.

Nice work here.
Simple, concise.
The arc of a curve against stark angularity....is love itself.

Ach Nev.. You might give the impression that your Blokey McBloke-Bloke, who is never to be confused with Jocky McLaddy, but we ain't fooled mate, you'd get a piece (sarnie) at anyone's door, ya old smoothy you!
Hope you are well, or at least wellerer than the hopefully long forgotten ago. I absconded the caff myself for a bit, the blight got a holda me and a lot of others here too. Betterer now, after a long recoopera... Recouparat.... Rest 😊

Beautiful and almost Zen like. I love it. Sad and lifelike in its beauty.

Love knows its own and just one look can be set in stone as your special verse expresses - - this has more than a touch of pathos mon ami - - - am glad I looked in today............x

Bless you dear Fay ... and thank you tooly ... x
never accelerate going into a curve ... one risks overshooting and loosing control .. acceleration straightens the path through the apex as one keeps an eye on the outcome ... brief interludes are most certainly set in stone .. we remember them wondering all the woulda coulda shoulda about them .. those perfect eye lashes .. mystical spells ... blessed to have them eh!? beautiful poem ... sparks me alive this morning .. old stone or not. ;)

dearest Neville... love at first sight... of an eyelash flutter...
as soft as a butterfly among the flowers... love is a feeling
that settles upon your heart. Be brave and never give up.
truly, Pat
