I understand what You are saying here, it's more of yielding and flow with them rather than "wait and see", but You've written it in a clever way it's like wait but don't wait... wait, live and do what's needed along the road until the truth is revealed.

My consuntrayshun was shot to pieces so took a brief respite from it all Nev. Couldn't get a grip on anything and felt like I was having to focus too much on each line, then read again to make sure. Think it was just agitation. Fleeting inattention, etc. But never fear, I'm back with a err, whimper now 😊
