When it comes to words, sometimes only a neologism will do, maybe .. N :)

Gooder than Good Even

 

When I am done here

I don’t want

you to regret that our

paths ever crossed

for but a moment in time ..

When I am done here

I want you to

sit back, to smile and

maybe relax

and to think to yourself ..

My word, that was so much

better than fine

it was gooder than good

by a mile and a half even ..

I think I'll have to add 'gooder' to my dictionary to write this. Yep, sure 'nuff ... my autonomously correcting device changed it to 'holder'. Once in the dictionary always in the dictionary. And my thanks to you for expanding my poetic vocabulary. I may have created a neogolism or two myself. Just didn't know what they were.

Hopefully, people will smile when they hear our names and, think of the gooder than good times. I don't consider this a sad poem but a hopeful poem. Thinking positively is a gooder than good thing! Surely we can hope to live on in the hearts of our loved ones for a while. Yes... I think most of us will achieve that - even though we won't actually live to see it!
