Ten Years After

Ten Years After

A Poem by Neville

Ten Years After

Ten years from now,

I am reasonably sure

I may not remember

your name, or your

number, should you

ever dare give them

to me .. But have no

doubt at all, I am sure

to recall, that fire in

those eyes of yours,

the like of which,

I had not seen before

and may never again,

until the day that I die

Oh dear N! for whatever reason your words touched me deep that I have tears in my eyes, thank You for bringing them out, sometimes we need it... Ten years from now, I hope You would be happy and healthy, and sure that we would be still friends and good ones :>

Memory can fade with old age, particularly if dementia sets in . I love this poem. The eyes are the windows of the soul. May you always see the fire my friend. May you always see that spark.

Yes Neville. Some people do leave us with the memory of a wild fire. I did enjoy the poetry and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
