Where Are You?

Where Are You?

A Poem by Andrew Nightingale
"

A poem from a person who wishes to be loved again.

"

Where Are You?

My mind wanders off

And thinks of past times

But I’m ready to move on

And find the love that binds.

I feel so alone

Without you next to me

Every morning I wake up

But you’re not there, I see.

What I’d give to have it back

That feeling of love and love to give

And here I still wait for you

Every day is so hard to live.

I’m not desperate but lonely

There’s a difference between the two

So, please my special someone

Simply, where are you?

Just some more rambling poetry to let it out! :/

the feeling so loneliness and longing are captured in a way that is beautiful and compelling for the simplicity how the story is told.
