I Like It Here (Inside My Head)

I Like It Here (Inside My Head)

A Poem by Nightingale Silva
"

Free-style prose; Just let the words flow as they came forth. Uninhibited.

"
I sit there dazed,
Locked inside of my mind.
I like it here...
It's safe here.

I search my imagination,
While I purge my mind of all frustration.
I put pen to paper,
Just let the words flow.
All of my emotions thrown out there,
Plain as day...
Out there for all to see.

My mind gets so full of all these thoughts;
The good, the bad, the evil, and insane.
All of this trapped inside of my brain.
I must release them...
Rid myself of their incessant nagging,
All of this extra baggage.

I like it here inside my head...
Here where all my thoughts run rampant,
Free, and never stagnant.
I like it here...
