Some Kinda W***e

Some Kinda W***e

A Poem by Alex Wong

A Blood-Red Rose
passed round and round.
Night after night,
someone new always found.

His one night,
then on to another.
Never to settle
for just one lover.

Some kinda W***e
will play with your heart.
Some kinda W***e
will tear you apart.

Some kinda W***e,
will make you want more.
Some kinda W***e,
who you're sure to crave for.

However you ask,
She always seems fine.
So you think to yourself,
She'll always be mine.

But the Blood-Red Rose
is sure to Die.
As soon as she withers,
so will the Lie.

Some kinda W***e,
who likes to dance in the rain.
Some kinda W***e,
who will take all the pain.

The brutal life and inner scarring of this woman comes through, emanating right off the page--now that's poetry! Nicely done :)
