Oh well

In this world where everything is wrong, but no one seems to care. Oh well I guess..

They put the rights to the left, 

call it a test, 

make you think twice, 

when common sense is common sense you shouldn't have to think at all, 

but rules and regulations force you to ponder, 

a destruction of disordered, 

hmm, you wonder,  

yet you believe what they say, 

because well they said it so it must be true, 

look at you, 

falling into the rhythm they ask of you,

can we no longer think for ourselves? 

incapable of doing research or finding out the truth, 

what they say on the news is really good enough for you?,

well it's not good enough for me,

when they put toxins in the food that we eat,

or poison the water we drink,

just so they can make a dime,

im not calling it injustice,

but incompetent suicide,

because fake stuff saves bucks,

and thats really their goal, 

make all the money in the world but still they'd never own it all,

a land of the free but im paying for my land, 

all the stuff God gave us,

but we still gotta pay the man, 

how does that make any sense? 

when his transgressions become obsessions and he no longer defers,

to make an actual life for himself and be somebody in this world,

to protest and be arrested, 

because what you believe in doesn't add up to the amount of money you're standing in the way of, 

they call you a jester, 

because you play your part so well, 

you make them laugh, 

while they make you live a living hell, 

oh well...

The indifference and inability to do anything about these things is what makes this poem work well. The last several lines are accurate in my opinion.
