Death

Death

A Poem by David Field
"

pretty self explanitory as to how i felt at the time

"

Sealed in my tomb the darkness encloses

I will not be buried amongst many roses

Enveloped in death we are before it ever approaches

Unknowing we are of how close it encroaches

It strikes without warning, the innocent it poaches

My last thoughts are of how too few roses

Will be tossed by friends when my tomb encloses
