Under Table, Under Covers

Under Table, Under Covers

A Poem by Meghan
"

For my girlfriend when she was my girlfriend.

"

Uninhibited weight

Nestled on my sternum,

Though fingers tentatively

Rattle gently

Along my skin’s napes.

Dilated pupils migrate

Over your rampant curves;

I scrupulously

Attempt aversion.

We’ve fallen so deeply.

What novice we implore--

Hush the lights

No one yet knows.

I love a good love story. But sometimes, only lust will do.

I love your line "Dilated pupils migrate over your rampant curves". Now that's poetry!

Soft and romantic, love doesn't last forever.
