Communication

A Poem by Molly

I'm moving away, you're stuck in your track
I'm trying to see you but you don't look back.
We're bound to each other and inside we know
that we're so good together but I'm about to go.

You turn in your circles where noone belong
and all we called perfect feels so oddly wrong.
Inside we know better, inside we are good,
but we're lost in translation and misunderstood.

I live for your scent and your soothing embrace
but your train of thoughts is so hard to trace.
I want to be here so please beg me to stay...
but you will keep silent and I'll move away.

I don't wish for roses or poetry read
but I need you to whisper what needs to be said.
Don't give me no jewelry, just make me believe
that it's a good thing to stay, because I don't want to leave.
