UNCHAINED

UNCHAINED

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Come with me to rocky heights!

"

UNCHAINED

The mountains where my feet have trod
From plain to rocky highs
Stand regal in the morning light
To rim the cobalt sky

The winding trails of sand and scree
That bear the weight of time
Have come to be my closest friends
To cradle every rhyme

Belaboring every rocky step
When hiking from the rim
Rewarded by majestic sights
Where air is breathless thin

If I could take you by the hand
Unchained...to follow me
I know your heart would skip a beat
And set your spirit free!

Sharon, not only do you write such heart.warming poetry about life all around, you create real poetry as if you were born with a 'How To.. ' in your hand. This flows so beautifully, truly does. Thank you so much for sharing your words and the superb graphic!

I am a die hard fan of rhyming poetry. A poem that is correct in meter and beat is a unique treat in modern times.
The way that you have depicted nature in this poem is beautiful beyond description.

you write nature, and always have, as if you are writing about a closest friend or a loved one...and we get the connection so strongly---as usual, beautiful descriptions elevate your writes to the highest peak of beautiful.

You just did... :)

You fashioned this poem in a way that made a walk on the trail with you very accessible, and you made it feel so comfortable, too.

Nice work, Sharon. And thank you.
