TEMPORARY PERMANENCE

TEMPORARY PERMANENCE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

No way out?

"

TEMPORARY PERMANENCE

The mem'ries that held her
So tight in their grasp,
In NO WAY were soothing...
If  they'd only asked!

Who knew what she suffered
In darkness of night?
Who felt the pain searing
From morning 'till night?

They meant well to offer...
To be there and  care.
But they were not knowing
Such hopeless DESPAIR!

Her eyes moist and tear-stained
Did not even blink
The knife was embedded
Before she could think!
~~~
EPILOGUE
There IS one hope...the ONLY hope
There IS an answer...the ONLY answer
There IS a permanent solution to a temporary problem...
HIS NAME IS JESUS
Super grate and different. I read it as if I was seeing in a movie the scenes of fear inside her, and the need of defense in her own silence that no one seem to really truly be interested enough to make a difference for her.
Yes, Jesus is the answer to all despair for he is our direct connection with God.
Really GOOD writing dear!!!!
Thank you so much for a lovely and poignant review of this write. ~Sharon
Your words truly but tragically open pain and turn it against hope. Prayers for such tragic thoughts, finely laid though they are.
