Take the Best

 

God takes the best of us

 

       early

       often

 

   to hold unto his Breast.

 

He is a jealous God

 

   a worshipper

      

       of justice, truth & Light

 

   the best of us,

 

       always represent.

 

 

Do not begrudge God

      

       for taking our best

 

after only letting us sample

 

          for awhile...

 

 

After all,

       where did the Gift Come from

   Where did the Gift go

 

          AND where will the best part of us

 

   reside
