Make Peace

Make Peace

A Poem by Paul Seaman
"

... finish your homework ...

"

Make Peace

       every single day

       every single moment

you draw breath.

Not necessarily for your fellow Man

Not necessarily for the souls that live in strife

Yes Necessarily,  For You.

You see,

you never know when you will depart

       this sphere of existence,

you have know way on noing

       whenit will pass

       when You Will Pass...

If you leave Peace Undone

       you must return

       without the body

       and only Spirit

       to make things wright.

Set your longings aside

and reach them if you can

and surrender them, if you cant.

Set your desires down

and grant them if you are able

       and flush them, if unattainable.

Make Peace every moment,

       every day

       with every struggle and success

       want not

       wish not

       Do with all your heart

       ...and release...

       Just Make Peace !!!

To make peace with your past is to grow stronger within yourself.. Beautifully put into words :)

an interesting philosophy...but speaking as one who always did his homework on the school bus on a monday morning I don't think I'll be taking this fine advice...I also rather like the idea of hanging around AFTER....to iron out a few creases...Good read though

A persuasive piece here, headstrong, strident, and powerfully asserted. Great work.
