Fractured Perceptions

blinded masses

Lamenting life perceptions

fallen 'tween the cracks of

efforts seen unsubstantial

by ravenous prophets,

as implausible defenses

are torched mid advisement,

the naked eye blinks

a sacrificial indulgence

gratifying blind masses,

reality but a futilely 

deployed disclosure of

indiscriminate surrender,

yielding good men guided

unsighted & fractured

'neath fatal assumptions

god, we are so bad about assuming...even the good men die young, romantically speaking...

the prophets warn us and we still jump headlong into love...

maybe we love futility...or writing poems lamenting.

somehow, it reminds me 'bout the tormented pilgrims & paradigms of 'tis universal but so less intellectual world. everything's seemed so fractured around even the boundaries of one's heart as well. nice imagery here.
