Bush

Bush

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

So easy for politicians!

"

Bush

You sparked a riot with mere words,

started a war with a rhetorical spew

of untrue, insane hatred.

You used the oldest tricks in the book

to stir up fear and unrest.

Then you sent in the troops;

young men sent to defend

the lies you spread without remorse.

Other nations were drawn in,

conned into spilling the blood

of their own children.

Lives were lost

and many people left broken.

The repercussions have risen

like a tsunami

and have washed across the middle east

leaving a black stain

that will not easily

be washed out.

Great song Two tribes my fav. and yes great work I wish pollies were more accountable for their actions and penalised or even jail when they stuff up the counrty for decades, and they are corrupt. We in South Australia pay the highest taxes in Australia and they just get a nice pension indexed for life , So wrong!

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
