Neglected EarthA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe reap what we sow!Neglected Earth Your garden is untended, the grass needs mown; all the bushes and plants run wild, spilling across one another, intertwining in an attempt at supremacy and survival. Your trees need lopping for they block out the light that brings life, as they climb to the sun in Darwinian devilment, oblivious to the life of their companion species. Moss and weeds clog the crevices between the block paving, and the lawn extends it's grasping fingers across the path until there is little definition between those once carefully cultivated compartments. What has happened to the gardener who once had careful hands?
