![]() Dressed for the TheatreA Poem by Patricia Wedel![]() Formal attire in the latest fashion...![]() An Invitation to the Kennedy Center... Formal but not overstated we danced down the long Hall to be seated at the pleasure of Aristocrats with their wives dressed in Pearls and dangling diamonds with emerald and gold... It was foretold that the Russian Ballet would perform starring Rudolf Nureyev and Anna Pavlova... My lover and I were well feathered and versed in the movements of Swan Lake and the dying Swan.... we had seen the performance in Paris... Anna Pavlova with her dedication and talent was the most famous Russian ballet dancer ever. We were mellow having had Wine of Red Berries before our flight over the Potomac in the Nations Capitol. © 2021 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
