A Purple and Gold Finch with hints of red... 

became a Symbol of Prosperity... 

Having survived the Winter melodramas...   

the feathered Beauty sang "Springtime 

in the Rockies" ... 

The Hills were alive with the sound of 

Water Falls and Swallows from Capistrano  

Peace in the Valley... across the meadows 

where Salmon swam upstream...

The hills were alive with the sound of music. That’s where I went Pat. Heard Julie Andrew singing her heart out. In my garden this morning, our avian friends were in full song and our cat listened intently from beyond a closed window. Have to keep all the creatures happy. Lovely. We have quite a songbird in our parts just now too, but I have never heard anything quite like it, or annoyingly haven't even clapped eyes on it yet.
Is there a songbird called the sneaky hide and seeker by any chance? 😊
They most certainly lift us from winter and reset our hearts and minds to hopefully lighter and brighter days.
If I catch it on camera, I'll let you know, but have heard a few people ask what it is, which leads me to believe it's met people before and hasn't forgotten it.
It's probably just singing "There's that fool with his camera again!" 😊
