Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Pauline

Shadows

Traitors of the night

Covering light in patches

Playing games with the sun

Only to dissolve at dusk

Crawling back home

Begging forgiveness

But who can believe

The words of traitors

The shadows of the night can certainly talk. Bad company they are. Roll on dawn, the light is a much better companion. Relatable dear Pauline.
