Nin_Amour

A Poem by Pax Analog
"

Anima as Au d'Anais.

"

elixir of anais nin

flows in your

veins l'amour

marrow of filigreed

fire infuses your

treasured lyric

lines of gold

your luscious curves

flow out from the soul

of an angel in a strange land

your lush scarlet lips

kiss the promise

of the rose's rise

from a prelude of frost

your dewy-eyed

yearning draws

this sojourner

across the wilderness

of forgotten sighs

First, I can't believe I never found this poem among your writings. You've been leading a whole other secret life. To say I love this does not began to describe my feelings.

It is dreamy, ethereal and it plays like a song spinning over and over again in my head. It is as if Leonard Cohen and Jim Morrison sat down and collaborated on one perfect love song. So, yes, I love this and wonder why we don't see more of this from you?

" this sojourner across the wilderness of forgotten sighs" Words one would whisper to a lover as they shared a pillow.

Namaste ... yes, I bow to you learned master.

I went through an Anais Nin phase when I was in college...couldn't get enough of her journals. Not that I don't feel the same fondness now, but back then it was a bit of an obsession. Anyway, this piece really blew me away. I could sense the sensual, but I could also feel the depth and the tactile treasure of your words.

Soft, soothing tones, used to describe an urgent longing for one's lover - good mix, great poem. "draws this sojourner across the wilderness of forgotten sighs"; fantastic.

Your writing is like a cake, trimmed on the outside with decoration, candles, and icing. The real delicacy, however, simmers within. I have always loved your erotic-laced writings; but this token shimmers with the golden touch of a master's pen. Simply beautiful!

Quite beautiful. Different from much of your writing .. on this occasion, soft, soft the words from your pen. Reading again and aloud, they're put in such a way that they become very visual.

' the rose's rise from a prelude of frost ' -- conjurs thoughts and wondering what if ..
