Faded

Faded

A Poem by Payton ThaProphet

I take a sip of the poison which changes my demeanor in a way that foreshadows. One more time do I make a run for the light, it's hard to keep warm in the heart of the night. Let it burn, let it all just fade away...awaiting the awakening of the house of Isaac.

Drown out the sound how I have waited here so long. One more time do I pray to the heavens with heavy knees planted on this planet below me. Let it fade, let it all just burn away...awaiting the awakening of Jacob's house.

Foreshadowing a change in the congregation's praise of the world by definition of what mankind was meant to be. The animal on the ground, the bird of the air, and the fish in the sea. I glance towards the heavens and the awakening is evident. Awaiting confirmation whilst we all fade away...
