Wonderful- I’ve seen the salmon returning home in Alaska to breeding grounds they return to same place all the time- pushing up against the current to be where they know they belong- no matter the force of the water they endure and overcome/ wonderful example for us to follow I agree- makes one think🌹

The photograph of the leaping salmon is wonderful and I so admire you for experimenting with new forms of poetry.This time a tanka. I wish I could be that adventurous. We can learn much from nature and it has always been fascinating for me to contemplate how the salmon knows when to return back to where it originated from. That is a leap of faith indeed.
