Happy Birthday to My Godson

Happy Birthday to My Godson

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Happy Birthday to My Godson

I haven’t met you yet,

As you were just born today.

You and your mom are in the hospital

Spending precious bonding time on your birthday.

You are such a blessing to her,

For you’re her dream come true.

A desire only God could fulfill;

He gave her you.

I’m so glad to get to play a part in your life,

And I am so honored

That your mom and dad thought of me

To be your godmother.

I’m so excited that I will get to see you grow up.

But not so fast, little one.

Your whole life awaits,

But for now, you’re content in your mother’s love.

May you always know how special you are,

And may angels visit your dreams.

How sweet is your face

When you’re fast asleep.

Today is a beautiful day,

You’re a blessing, little one.

And I am blessed to wish a

Happy Birthday to my godson!

you`re welcome
How thoughtful to write this poem to celebrate the birth of your godson Josiah Paul. I can imagine how excited you are Melinda to meet him. Wonderful news for his parents and family and exciting to be a godmother too.
