Living to Die
Fulfilling the promise, He lived in holy obedience. A perfect life, Gloriously radiant. Preaching the Father’s love. Yet by the world, was denied. Even so, He continued to share--- Living to die. Though spat upon And whipped at His back, The same blood shed Took sin and shame’s lack. Though beaten and battered, He endured the plight. He accepted it all-- Living to die. Love unfolded While He hung there. Healing all creation, His love lay bare. A spotless life given By His will to set things right. Jesus came with saving love-- Living to die.
