A Poem by *~Poetic_Essence~*

Feeling hurt, broken, and tired

I hung up my anger

And dressed myself with heartache.

On my sleeve, I wear

Shattered pieces of my heart

The makings of me

Are falling apart…

Needle and thread in hand

I attempt to hem

The fabric of my life.

Miserably, I fail

As I wash and scrub

The stains with my tears

I hang the shredded heartache

Out to dry…

Hurt, broken, and tired

I once again

Dress myself up in anger…

Great poem. Maybe (broken) although that appears too common.

Luv,

Love it of course as always. I think that a good name would be ( Shredded Heartache) straight out of the poem or just (Shredded Heart). You could call it (Koo Koo La La) and it would still be a great poem. lol! I do not know when you wrote this because I havn't been on here for months. Nice to read you again though. I am going to try to get on here more now. My creative juices are starting to flow again. I have recently moved and am finally feeling a little more settled. Keep the writing flowing!!!
Love All, Melanie
Oh, I decided to change my name to my real name and included my maiden name too. I am not sure why. I just felt like I needed to come out and be real. Not hide behind an avatar sort of deal I guess.

I was just re-reading this and just realized it relates to laundry in a way. Well heres a couple titles off the top of my head. :)
-Dressed In Anger
-Hung Up Heartache
I like the second one. :) Anyway, Reading this again made me like it even more. I understand it a bit more too. :)

You Should call it "Closet Space" because just like a closet can hold many things so can your heart. I felt this one with my entire being...great write!

I'm good at coming up with titles but this one is a bit hard....
I'll let you know if I come up with something. :)

Great poem by the way! ♥
It has very strong fleeting emotions.
It makes me want to know what happened.
I enjoyed this. :)

"BUSTED" wud b a good title to represent your heartbreak. I love how your poem flows. Excellent use of metaphor.
