Thank you, Brook.
Like the juxtaposition of light and dark emotions, yep some days it feels just that way. Spacey and luverly... Smarty pants captcha...to the moon Alice....ha

Haha. Thank you, Frieda.
Interesting piece Pryde. I read it 5 times and didn't drift off once. That's kind of amazing. Congratulations on having a book. I have one too but it's from the library.

Seeing is believing, feeling is releasing. You have created a new vision not just in seeing but in feeling and you released all you brilliance on the pages...Excellent...:)....................

My pleasure...Any time...:).....................
This is a beautiful form idea, and it has inspired me to write my rendition of it in this tiny gift poem which you may keep as your own:

Light & Sound

Pearls
don't lack
opalescence,
soft and round.

Bows
hijack
iridescence
sky to ground.

Shells
may crack,
lose their essence
to catch sound.

Thank you, Aethereal. And thank you for the poem.
Feeling is best way to communicate from outside world to your soul. May be the only way. If this is established you are never alone.
It's a lovely amalgam of words.

Thank you, Avinash.
what a great idea and job Pryde ...first of all i love the curves ... the movement from sight to emotion is brilliant .. i had to squint and shade my eyes for the brightness ... honestly could feel that hurt in my noodle ... the turn of the third verse and structure really drew me to "grief" like a magnet .. i had to pause there more than i would have ... and your two end plates in bold print are perfect ... after reading i went back and knowing what is in between it was satisfying to capture just those four words "I see" and "I feel" ...the only thing missing is the connecting link "I think" :) (that is not a criticism) enjoyed the heck out of this poem ..

Thank you, E. I know what you mean and I think at these times one would really like to 'think' but t.. read more
Amazing use of the short sentences create thoughts and reaction. The senses of sight and touch/feel are the strongest part of the senses. I like the way you ended the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
