How I long to see your face
An instant anti-depressant
Those light blue eyes like the sky
That soft dark brown hair
I miss it- I miss you
The need to see you burning inside me
Like a fire burning on accelerant
The flame can only be extinguished
With the sight of you
But when the flame is doused
It’s never for long
The fire comes back with vengeance
I miss you again

aw Becca, i love this so much.
I like how you compared your desire to see him to a flame. Its the perfect metaphor. Everything in the poem flows so well. I'm sure Policastro would be proud lol :)

I thought it was very nice, to tell you the truth.
Very well written; you expressed the words of love very well.
