In the Dark

In the Dark

A Story by Speak
"

No one knows, what happens.

"

The silence treats me good

Holds me tenderly, like you should

The rain is my lullaby, at night

When shadows come into sight

I lose myself, I lose myself sometimes

Somewhere in the dark of the night

Oh, somewhere in the dark of the night

(Heard ya)

Tapping on my windows

Scattered all of my photos

Losing composure, No one knows

No one knows, what happens

In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

In the, In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

Breathing under the stars

Humbles me, galaxies oh so far

My heart is beating so fast

I’m lost and alone, lost and alone, in a world so vast

I lose myself, I lose myself sometimes

Somewhere in the dark of the night

Oh, somewhere in the dark of the night

(Heard ya)

Collecting all those lost souls

Burning all of my photos

Time is nearing, no one knows

No one knows, what happens

In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

In the, In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

In the, In the dark of the night

In the dark of the night

Author's Note

Speak
This song blossomed out of the curiosity of the unknown and the helplessness of feeling lost in oneself. I've grown quite fond of it and hope you can grow quite fond of it too. :)

This is lovely. Being alone with the night, with your thoughts, free to exist as you are, must be a good thing. (It has long been my solace, too)
