The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by Rachael Lea

The wrinkles in your clothes

the whispers in your ears

the wind is so bold

yet so clear

when not understood

such a temper she can throw

when  she is calm and happy

she is found dancing on your bow

the wind, such a beautiful thing
providing us the songs
the angels sing
The wind brings bliss
everywhere she goes
you just have to see
what it is she shows
So next time you find
you are complaining of her
remember not all is ugly
see the beauty, her allure

A beautiful thought, beautifully captured. The wind that howls is also the wind that brings you everyday sweetness and joy, found in the most unusual and simplest of places. Those thoughts can be all the difference it takes to reign in the tsunami in our minds, for the briefest glimpse of beauty, all the more beautiful for its sudden and unexpected call to you. Beautiful words indeed.

Thank you. Writing is far easier than talking to people. At least from my experience.
