Touch

Touch

A Poem by Raja
"

I have run a lot; just come and have me rejuvenated

"

Touch

When half of the world falls asleep,
You keep me awoken the rest of the night

When half of them are in their mid-dreams or
At the outset of another dream after completing the
Previous ones, you bring me your unspoken desire to
Hold you!

When half of them generally treat agony as bad part of life,
You come and say, “Pain…I want pain like a sweetest song!’
And it stays
Long after it has gone

When half of them finally take an oath of not to get close,
You suddenly vanishes in me with your magical touch

And I lay virtually on the stone, fighting to get me…

Deeper the rhythm,
Faster the storm
You stop in the middle like a rock
Behind which sets the sun and rises
On the temple of your flesh!

I am in the lull
As quite not often
As to find the job of love at the zenith,
Whereupon you made your city
Where I stay—

‘Tis all about your touch
That fuels me on saying
I love you, my dear,
As nights start!

Just touch the heaven taking me with you

When half of them cheer,
You tell me an old song
And I sing with your notes
With a backdrop tune of a piper!!

Oh my . . . this is a quite complex and deep poem. I love the lines . . .

"When half of them generally treat agony as bad part of life,
You come and say, "PainI want pain like a sweetest song!'
And it stays
Long after it has gone"

I see this stanza as "hope". Looking at pain as not a burden, but as a blessing.

And then . . .

"am in the lull
As quite not often
As to find the job of love at the zenith,
Whereupon you made your city
Where I stay-"

This makes me recognize true love and devotion, without fear.

A pleasure and privilege to read, dear poet friend,

Thank you!
