Havoc Betrayer

Havoc Betrayer

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

"

Scrolling through the ancient chronicles,

Unlimited access to black sunshine rue,

The Cutter surfs channel of Eve

But there is no safety in Echo’s Haven

          While death spends time

In the arms of a stranger

Exploration into Drayton Falls

As a haunted countryside affair decays

Will chain you in a reserved abyss

I love the detatched and yet atatched tone of these lines... powerful construction

I like this because it talks about the darkness that we all can fall in.

The darkness in this poem is protrayed most excellent. You manage to take darkness and shed light upon it with a new vision. Excellent write.

Damn. This is so powerful, so dark. Your poetry always manages to shock, and that's why I love it.
