Demon's Daughter

Demon's Daughter

A Poem by Raven Hawthorne

Ashes fall and callus the sky,
blacken out the sun,
send shivers down my spine.
Demon's daughter, with an angels smile,
you're sweet wine has poisoned me
I can't help myself
I can't help myself.

Grey guardian call my name
Bring me home, take me in from the rain
words like roaches crawl into my skin
burrow holes forced into sin,
i take the blame,
i can't help myself
i can hurt myself

green eyes crying
the fire 'round your head
scorch and burn,
do you know what you've done?
Do you know what was done?

Ashes fall unto the ground
no trace of you has since been found,
Demon's daughter, you're presence is felt,
you're heart of ice, can melt.

Grey guardian, Call her name,
stop this endless rain,
words like snakes, with venom
hiss and sting
you're sweet wine has poisoned me,
can you help yourself?
will you help yourself?
