Restless

Restless

A Poem by Robin
"

a tale of two muses

"

Watching from afar. Shadows bow down before the soft hues of lunar grace. Understanding forms the elegant smile upon his face. Tender care wraps around each step - walking on precious glass. The edge between the worlds a well worn mountain trail, leading closer and further. All at once and never before.

Her morning wears the scent of secrets. Nearby a golden chalice rests upon a wilted rose , the last drops of the potent elixir evaporating into the morning mist.  Her eyes slivered by sunlight ,  she seals them to time and embraces the last whisper of her silken dream. She feels the warmth of the sun pour over her skin, and a shadow of a smile she knows she will soon miss ...

Shimmer and shivers echo around about. Smallest motion drawing the long awaited sigh as movement sinks down into the flow of the threads. He knows this be the calming breath before the heartfelt torn asunder cascades into trickles thundering onto bare bones. The beginning as never before .

Well Woven! You to seem to be telling a story it's like there was a moment when you saw eye to eye and although it was a short moment the style contact was priceless!

You really have a way with imagery. The pictures painted are exquisite. Reminds me of Tennyson, but in modern form.

This is sensitively written and poignant. Love the use of the classic symbolism of the path given your fresh take. The mysticism and mythology contained in this poem are exquisite.

this makes me think of 'Jane Eyre', written by Charlotte Bronte...
the beginning itself transported me back to the Victorian Era...

The beginning as never before... I'm going to just throw out there that this is amazing and I don't think my praise will do this justice.. I love the language. It's like a web of beauty that keeps expanding more beautifully.
