I wrote this a while back when I was in a rough spot in life. This is dedicated to all of you writers who were or still may be stuck.

Writer

 

Hour after hour

Day upon day

My life is wasted

Wasted away

The clock yells twelve

My eyes blood red

Feeling no acomplishment

Feeling dead

Is this my fate

To fail as a writer

To sit here frustrated and mad

Fists clenching tighter

What am I to do

Do I simply quit

No, I shall not

So here I shall sit

oh man do i know how that is...i've been there for quite some time :( but usually when I 'm blocked with writing I move on to drawing instead...haven't wrote anything valuable (at least to me) in some time, but i finally thought i'd go back to a previous story and continue on it.

So long as you have a love for writing you'll always be a writer and not even a period of writers block can change that. NIcely done!

I have felt this pain, writers block and imminent failure wrapped in one painful package. You feelings of frustration are a palpable as if I were watching that moment in real life. Excellent job!
