~ Tawddgyrch Cadwynog ~ (pronounced Tuth-girk Cod-ee-know) This is one of the easiest; but, I think, most beautiful of the classical Welsh poetic forms. There are several versions, but this one is: Rhyme scheme : abbc addc, aeec, affc. Stanza Type : Quatrains, centered Syllables : 8 per line Verses : 4 or more
This is a beautiful, heartfelt piece Richard... it shows such warmth ,bravery and softness. " Love soft winds flow through" ... and I will protect you from any storm, because our hearts are now one.... and nothing bad can touch you. I reached by the force of the strong winds that blew me to your soul. I love the rhyming pattern here too Richard.... a scene from a love story. Well done!
Best, B.

True, an American~Welsh love story of reassurance (now, 7-years past), appropriately writ in a Welsh poetry form.
That you love anything about it is an inspiring gift to an olde bard's hopeful self. : )
A very beautiful use of words. It was so descriptive I felt a lot while reading this. Freedom and love yet a certain element of something holding someone back. I enjoyed this poem.

You are very perceptive in your understanding of this hopeful and encouraging homage to one allowing their soul-mate's love and protection to overcome fear from life's and Nature's storms, so it can finally enter-in and persevere.
Thank you so very much for selecting this lovely piece to read and review for me, and most especially for enjoying it … my most grateful hugs to you, Brittany! ⁓ Richard
"I spoke softly, "Come closer Dear..." / Those strong winds blew my soul to You" - Love this line. Even from a storm comes beautiful things. Such comfort here. Lovely (:

Soft winds and storms and everything in between, that's life. Once again my gifted teacher has thrown down the gauntlet for me. I will honor you with an attempt.
