Tears of the Sinner

Tears of the Sinner

A Poem by Ashley Robel
"

A piece of my soul left on the pages of life.

"

Angel of mercy, you came to me.

You set me free from a web of deceit.

Now I can pray it isn't too late.

I wish I hadn't made this mistake.

As I hold him in my arms, I can't help but cry.

How could I hurt such a wonderful guy?

I die each time I see that look.

It holds secret questions that only we know.

As tears fall down my face, let them wash away my sin.

Then we can try to be whole again.
