Apathy

A poem I wrote when I was a little aggrivated.

A scream of anger echos inside.

How can you not care?

A cry of frustration is caught in my throat,

So quiet you cannot hear.

At wits end, I cry helpless tears.

My heart is wrenching as I hear your words.

I don't know what to do.

So I let the tears continue to fall;

And fall into a restless sleep,

Where I slip into a dream.
