![]() Hamlet's DisgraceA Poem by Ashley Robel![]() This is for the Pagemaster's Challenge # 11, The Shakespeare Challenge.... I wasn't even sure that I'd make it in time...But I guess I did. Anyway, I took my inspiration from the play Hamlet and his want, nay need, for revenge for his father's death.![]() Darkness hath now come to Denmark, For, my dear Father, you have made your depart. In one month's time, Mother hath married again. Her incestuous marriage is laden with sin. Your own brother now shares her bed, 'Tis the place where he rest his evil head. He made his dark plans to take your place. They led him to murder you, to my disgrace. Now the guilt for his deeds must he feel.
