One lump or two?

Experimental prose

Gentle whistle of a kettle on the stove
Glass mugs gathered from a shelf
Lace cloth draped over a table
Silver shined to perfection
"Welcome to my parlor."
says the spider to the flies
Mandibles twitching in delight
"We shall have some tea."

Sadly, I watch as they all enter.

It sounds to me that a person of wicked nature is telling lies or drawing a big web of deceptions attracting all the deceived ( flies ) into his web and sadly enough it is all going in front of your eyes or our eyes. Someone who is brilliant but with deceptive wickedness that wants people to buy all his story but at the end lies have short ropes or fragile threads that will break easy. A very good write ...Well done...:)
