My sweet surrender

My sweet surrender

A Poem by Rosaria_V
"

"I surrender happily"

"
Walking slow down a quiet street.
The sun start to peak as I walk along the sidelines.
Taking in the warmth and the silence, thanking god for today.
as I go on my way

taking in everything around me and all my blessings,
nothing else seems to matter, I caving in... this is my sweet surrender.
I surrender happily.

Taking time for just the moments that most take for granted and are hardest to get back
to get back, spending time with the ones you
love cause there will come a day where there will be an empty
space at the family table where a peace of your heart used to be.

Trusting in today, thanking God for tomorrow, and everyday he gives.
This is my sweet surrender to live life happily and trust in him.

This is a small piece I wrote about faith. I love being able to write about faith and how faith has gotten me threw so much. I have respect for everyones religion, and views of faith. These are mine :) and I hope you enjoy them! I surrender happily and trust that no matter what, we have the good lord watching over us and he will guide us to where we are meant to be. Live for the little moments you will treasure and look back at at with a smile. No matter what paths we take in life, always keep faith. Thank you so much for reading!! :D

This one is all to real for me...that empty space has been at our table for a year now, but it doesn't necessarily mean a sense of loss...if one is willing to look for and accept the signs that loved ones are never truly that far away, then the signs will come...this is a phenomenon I've become increasingly conscious of in the last decade or so...some people say their mind is open to signs but don't believe them when they arrive...this piece reads like an invitation to do so, a reassurance that it's alright to believe one's eyes and mind whether things can be rationalized or not...wonderful work Rosie :)

A refreshing read for me...admittedly, God probably brought me here to read it because I could improve in certain areas (spending time with my _____ family means needing God more for strength!!) ...but hey, I've got the first stanza down okay!

Thanks Rosie for sharing...and GOOD LUCK with school!

Your so sweet and thank u soo much!
I really like this and it has great messages in it:)! No one seems to stop and thank god for the day, or for the things you have. Tho I guess its just human nature to have a greedy side. It's hard to stop and say thank you for the day when we are down or upset. But I guess instead of being mad or upset bc of something, we should be thankful that we do have what we do while we have it. :) Great job chic!!:)
