Here I go again…
Lost in my own thoughts
I’m powerless….
I’ve surrendered to you…
Once again
I am here old friend..
Like an old song bringing back melancholy
Were you expecting me at all?
I have to say I’m no longer who I once was..
I’m not as youthful as I was..
Not so easily persuaded..
Not so easily moved
I have shifted
As if my heart has gotten smaller
I have not much room for empathy…
The very empathy that has destroyed my kindness…
Some days I sit and think of you
how innocent you were..
So full of hope…
so full of dreams…
Sometimes I wish I could find you again…

We tend to change, become harden emotionality through life experiences which can make us stronger or weaker. But we do become wise to the fact of not to be done the same way over and over. We lose ourselves sometimes through the hardships we’ve gone through from all aspects in life relationships, business or whatever.
